Blayne Rennick

Blayne Rennick is currently Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee; serves on Executive Director Review Committee. He has over 30 years in Municipal Administration. Began career in North Bay 1960 as Assistant Director of Recreation; first Director of Recreation (1964) former City of Galt; selected for Galt’s Outstanding Young Man Award 1969; first Commissioner of Community Services 1973, new City of Cambridge; Chief Administrative Officer, Cambridge, 1979-1987.

Blayne graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Public Administration, he was Awarded Permanent Municipal Directors Certificate in 1966. He had Honorary Fellow and was the youngest President, he is the Society of Directors Municipal Recreation Director in 1969. He is Inducted into the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame as Athlete and Builder in 1990.
