Cynthia Johnson, M.P.H., J.D., has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cynthia began their career in 1977 as a Health Care Consultant for the United Auto Workers, where they represented the organization during the negotiation of health care legislation and worked on health care benefit package structure.

In 1987, Johnson joined Clark Hill, PLC as an Attorney Shareholder, a role they held until 2000. Cynthia then transitioned to Couzens, Lansky, P.C. as an Attorney-Shareholder, specializing in legal matters until 2014.

Johnson also worked as a Mediator and Arbitrator at their own company, Cynthia L. M. Johnson, from 2000 until present, providing services in dispute resolution. Additionally, they joined Community Living Services in 2014 as Vice President Corporate Affairs and General Counsel.

Throughout their career, Johnson has demonstrated expertise in legal matters, healthcare consulting, and dispute resolution.

Cynthia Johnson, M.P.H., J.D., pursued their education with a focus on law and public health. From 1980 to 1984, they attended Michigan State University College of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Cynthia Johnson excelled in their studies and graduated cum laude. Earlier, from 1973 to 1975, they attended the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Master of Public Health degree and specialized in the fields of Health Economics and Health Education.
