Susan York

Susan York has had a diverse work experience spanning several years. Susan started their career at Community Living St. Catharines in 1989 as an Instructor, where they worked until 1992. Susan then moved on to Brock University, where they served as a Play Therapist from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they became the Executive Director of Lennox and Addington Resources for Children from 1997 to 2001. Susan then returned to Community Living St. Catharines, where they held various roles including Director, Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer since September 2023.

Susan York achieved an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Criminology, and Clinical Psychology from Brock University between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Niagara College from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, focusing on Behavioral Therapy. York also completed a degree in Educational Resources Special Needs, specializing in Intellectual Disability and Education, from Niagara College between 1988 and 1990. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University, although the specific timeframe is unknown.
