Lauren McWhorter

Lauren McWhorter is a highly experienced nursing professional with a diverse background in both nursing and laboratory settings. Currently serving as a Nurse Practitioner at Community Memorial Health System since December 2016, Lauren has also held a position as a Staff Registered Nurse III in Labor and Delivery at Community Memorial Healthcare since August 2011. Previous experience includes a role as a Staff Registered Nurse II in Labor and Delivery at Northridge Hospital Medical Center from February 2010 to December 2012. Before transitioning to nursing, Lauren worked as a Custom Antibody Production Associate II at Life Technologies, where responsibilities included protein and antibody purification and inventory management. Academically, Lauren holds a Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Northridge, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Channel Islands.
