Ashten Harless has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Ashten started their career as a Human Resources Retirement Intern at Dow Corning in 2015, where they reviewed international localizations and implemented a consistent process for calculating retirement benefits. Ashten also created summaries for each participant and documented the history of the localization process.

In 2015, they also worked as a Student Consultant at Consumers Energy, where they assessed and improved the onboarding process by creating checklists and providing best practices for new hires, managers, and HR representatives.

From 2016 to 2017, Ashten worked as a Benefits Coordinator at National Heritage Academies, where they managed employee benefits.

Since 2017, Ashten has been working at Community Mental Health for Central Michigan. Ashten initially started as a Human Resources Generalist and later became the Human Resources Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Human Resources Officer.
