Jeremy Preston is a highly experienced violinist who has been a Principal Second Violin at the San Francisco Opera since August 2014. Additionally, Jeremy is a violin teacher at the Myriad School of Music, The Hamlin School, and the San Francisco Community Music Center. Jeremy is also the owner of Preston Violin Studio, providing Suzuki violin lessons in San Francisco, CA. With a Master's degree in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Jeremy has a strong educational background that complements their impressive professional experience as a violinist and teacher.

Founded in 1921, San Francisco’s Community Music Center (CMC) is one of the oldest and largest community arts organizations on the West Coast. CMC makes high quality music accessible to all people, regardless of financial means. Last year, CMC awarded nearly $2.4 million in tuition assistance, serving more than 3,100 students of all ages, ethnicities and income levels with music lessons, classes and other programs.
