Nick Colella has had a diverse range of experiences in various roles, including being an Audiovisual Engineer at El Rio, a Registrar at the San Francisco Community Music Center, and a Program Manager at The Richmond Neighborhood Center. Nick has also worked as a Program Coordinator for Multi-Cultural Children's Art workshops, an Activity Leader for an After School Program, a Bicycle Courier for Postmates, an English Writing Tutor and Editor at Middlesex Community College, and an ESOL Tutor at Literacy Volunteers of the Pollard Memorial Library. Nick's educational background includes a certificate in Live Sound Reinforcement & Studio Recording Arts from City College of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Founded in 1921, San Francisco’s Community Music Center (CMC) is one of the oldest and largest community arts organizations on the West Coast. CMC makes high quality music accessible to all people, regardless of financial means. Last year, CMC awarded nearly $2.4 million in tuition assistance, serving more than 3,100 students of all ages, ethnicities and income levels with music lessons, classes and other programs.
