Brian Knutsen

Brian Knutsen, OTR/L, CHT, is a highly experienced occupational therapist with a specialization in hand and upper extremity therapy. As the President and Owner of Buzzards Bay Hand Therapy LLC since November 2005, Brian has successfully founded and managed an outpatient practice, overseeing evaluations, treatments, and administrative duties, while also engaging in medical billing and marketing efforts. Additionally, Brian serves as a Certified Hand Therapist at University Orthopedics and works on a per-diem basis with Community Nurse & Hospice Care, providing care to homebound patients. Previously, Brian worked with Southcoast Health System & Southcoast Hospitals Group, where the expertise in treating traumatic injuries and fabricating orthopedic devices was honed, alongside leading professional development for therapy staff. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University, awarded in 1996.
