Sharla Dyess is a dedicated Child and Family Therapist at Community Partners of South Florida since July 2019, providing essential therapy to individuals in crisis. Additionally, Sharla has been serving as an Art Therapist Graduate Intern at Apalachee Center, Inc., where therapy is offered to both minors and adults facing severe psychiatric and substance abuse challenges. Experience includes work as an Art Therapist Graduate Intern at Wakulla Correctional Institution, where Sharla facilitated therapy for inmates with mental disabilities, and at Pyramid Healthcare, where art therapy was provided to adults with various medical and mental illnesses. Sharla's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science from Florida Southern College.
