Alicia Lara, MPH, serves as the President and CEO of Community Partners since July 2021, leading a national organization focused on supporting leaders and initiatives across the nonprofit, philanthropy, and public sectors. With a robust background in strategic leadership, Alicia has managed organizations with significant annual revenues, built trusted partnerships, and developed impactful programs. Previously, Alicia held senior roles at United Way Worldwide, where responsibilities included developing strategies for vulnerable populations and overseeing racial equity initiatives, and at United Way of Greater Los Angeles, focusing on homelessness and economic development. Earlier career experiences include leadership positions at The California Endowment, where Alicia managed grantmaking programs and cultivated partnerships to improve health outcomes, and at the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, advocating for health policy reforms. Alicia holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from SDSU Global Campus.
