Anthony Demers

Anthony Demers has extensive experience in finance and banking, currently serving as Vice President at Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank since April 2019, where responsibilities include evaluating and authorizing loan applications and advising borrowers on financial matters. Additionally, since 2016, Anthony has held the position of Treasurer for Community Partners, focusing on financial monitoring and risk management. Prior experience includes Director of Finance at Monarch School of New England from 2013 to April 2019, overseeing budgeting and financial forecasting, as well as serving as Treasurer at Eastern Bank from December 2012 to June 2018, and Assistant Vice President at Centrix Bank from October 2006 to December 2011. Anthony began a career in finance as a Credit Analyst. Anthony holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Plymouth State University, completed between 2001 and 2005.
