Pat La Plante is an experienced crisis therapist and licensed professional counselor with a diverse background in mental health and counseling services. Currently serving as a Crisis Therapist at Community Reach Center since September 2017, Pat also holds a long-standing role as a Supervising Counselor at Denver Rescue Mission since August 1991, where responsibilities include establishing a counseling department and supervising interns. In addition, Pat contributes to The Navigators as a Team Member on the People Resources Team, providing pastoral care and psychological first aid. Pat's extensive involvement in crisis intervention includes roles with Crisis Care Network and Anchor Counseling and Communications, alongside previous experience as a Chaplain and Milieu Coordinator at Eating Recovery Center. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Spiritual Formation and Counseling from Colorado Christian University and Wheaton College, supplemented by a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications from Virginia Tech.
