Steph Shieh

Manager, Parent & Caregiver Engagement Programs at Community Resources for Children

Steph comes to CRC with a passion for working with and for young children. Her first “real job” was as a student assistant working in the toddler classroom at the Wellesley Community Children’s Center, where she discovered the joy of watching children learn through play and social interaction. Her experience in the education sector is primarily as a former Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten teacher, but she has worked with children as young as age 2 and up to high school in private, public, and charter schools. She also has prior experience in the nonprofit sector, where she worked as an executive and operations assistant. Steph holds a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College in Biology and Education Studies, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, she completed post-bacc studies as a teaching fellow with the Progressive Education Lab.
