Denise Flatness

Denise Flatness is currently the Senior Music School Program Coordinator at the Community School of Music and Arts since December 2022. Denise has been a String Quartet Member since August 2007, performing as a violist in various quartets, including works by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Additionally, Denise has showcased solo performances of Johann Sebastian Bach's Cello Suite no. 3 for Solo Viola and other pieces. Previously, Denise served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Denver from September 2015 to June 2017, where responsibilities included mentoring freshmen and sophomore viola students and assisting in a string chamber music class. Denise holds a Master of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Denver (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance, Viola from the University of Arizona (2011-2015).
