Leigha Kerwin is a Clinical Psychology Pre-Doctoral Intern at Community Services Institute and has been a Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford since August 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Psychology Practicum Student at CREC, Community Health Center, and Eastern Connecticut State University, where responsibilities encompassed managing therapy clients, conducting clinical intakes, and facilitating group therapy. Leigha also worked as a Psychological Evaluator at Advanced Psychological Services, conducting neuropsychological evaluations and formulating comprehensive reports. Additional experience includes research assistance at Boston University on the Framingham Heart Study and teaching positions in science education at New Hanover County Schools and Sampson County Schools. Leigha holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from the University of Connecticut.
