Nathan Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and information security. Nathan has held various leadership positions in several organizations, including Community Servings, where they are currently serving as the Director of Information Systems. Prior to this, they worked at Community College of Rhode Island as the Chief Information Officer. Nathan also served as an Information Technology Consultant at The Wing, Vice President of Information Technology at Care.com, and Senior Director of Information Technology at Year Up. In addition, Nathan has held significant roles at Harvard Law School, SoundBite Communications, Inc, Ask Jeeves, Cambridge Systematics, and Tufts University. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing technology infrastructure, information security, technical support, and operations. Nathan has also been responsible for implementing and managing security systems and ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards.

Nathan Brown, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The George Washington University. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Providence Country Day School, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Apart from their formal education, Nathan has also obtained the certification of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in November 2020.

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses, like HIV/AIDS, Cancer, MS, Lou Gehrig’s disease and more than 30 others. We provide our clients, and their dependent families and caregivers with nutritious, made-from-scratch meals and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Our goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.
