Emily Hefner

Emily Hefner currently serves as Principal at Marklund and has held the position of Assistant Principal since July 2020. Additionally, Emily has been an Assistant Principal at Cortland Elementary School since July 2018. In the field of education since August 2011, Emily has also worked as a General Education Teacher for Community Unit School District 308. Emily's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bradley University, a Master of Education in Elementary and Middle School Administration from the University of St. Francis, and a Special Education LBS degree from the same institution.
