Sharon Sims is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare and education. Currently employed at Community Wellness since January 2023 and VIVO Infusion since May 2021 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Clinic Manager, Sharon also served as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Community Hospice & Palliative Care from August 2020 to March 2022 and as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Health from October 2016 to August 2020. Between their nursing roles, Sharon was part of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team at Krucial Staffing in April and May 2020. Earlier in their career, Sharon worked as an Employment Security Specialist for the State of Alaska from 2010 to 2012 and as an Elementary School Teacher for the Elmore County Board of Education from 1999 to 2002. Sharon holds a Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama (2018-2020), a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of North Florida (2014-2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery (1994-1999).
