Murals Teaching Artist at Community-Word Project

Felipe Galindo, also known as Feggo, is an accomplished visual artist, educator, and cartoonist with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently serving as an Educator at both the Hispanic Society of America and Poets House, Galindo specializes in utilizing humor across various media, including cartoons, illustrations, and animation. As a Murals Teaching Artist for Community Word Project and a Teaching Artist at the School of Visual Arts, Galindo conducts workshops and courses in cartooning and visual arts. Galindo is also the owner of Felipe Galindo Studio, where work in editorial, humorous, and children's illustrations, as well as public art, is produced. Additional notable roles include serving as an Art Instructor and Graphic Consultant at Say Yes To Education, and creating artwork for MTA Arts and Design. Previous experience includes positions at Barnes & Noble and the National Archives in Mexico. Felipe Galindo holds a BFA in Visual Arts from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
