Monica Chen

Monica Chen is currently the Director at Community-Word Project. Prior to that, they were with Credit Suisse and also East Coast Asian American Student Union (ECAASU) where they served as Logistics Task Force.

At ECAASU, Monica was responsible for facilitating an 1000+ people conference, managing a team and communicating effectively with other task forces. Monica also planned and executed exhibitions, including an art show showcasing Asian American and Asian Canadian artists' work.

Monica's experience in event planning and management has been extremely helpful in their current role as Director at Community-Word Project. Under their leadership, the organization has been able to successfully carry out its mission of providing arts education to underserved communities in New York City.

Monica Chen is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Monica is pursuing a degree in economics and public policy.
