Community Works
Chelsea Sunitsch is a Program Manager at Community Works where Chelsea oversees the Community Advocacy Services and leads the Sex Trafficking Intervention Project. Prior to this, Chelsea worked at Marble Mountain Ranch for 10 years as a Hospitality/Equestrian Manager. Chelsea also has experience as a K-8 Substitute Teacher in various school districts. Chelsea graduated from the University of Oregon in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology.

Founded in 1996, Community Works is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency serving high-need youth and families, Women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence, and the Jackson County community as a whole through our 24/7 HelpLine. Through key community collaborations, a highly engaged board of directors, and deeply committed staff, we offer a comprehensive array of services that address the whole person and family, including: Alternative education Individualized social service and educational/vocational support Crisis intervention Information and referral Safety through shelter Mental health and addictions treatment Advocacy Case management Transitional living and services
