Joe E. Gonzalez's work experience includes serving as the Director of Security at Community Bible Church San Antonio since 2015. Prior to that, they worked at the Texas Department of Public Safety for over 27 years, holding various roles such as Special Agent, Narcotics Sergeant, and State Trooper. Joe also underwent training as a Trooper Trainee at the Texas Department of Public Safety Training Academy in 1987.
Joe E. Gonzalez attended South Plains College from 1983 to 1985 where they obtained an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement Investigation and Interviewing. Following that, they enrolled at West Texas A&M University College of Business from 1985 to 1987, studying Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.

Community Bible Church began on May 26, 1990 meeting in a conference room of a local hotel. From day one the mission of CBC has always been to reach people with the good news of salvation in Jesus’ name, to teach people how to live the Christian life according to the Bible, and to help people through the hard times in life. We gather in large group celebrations for worship and in small groups for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and ministry.
