Mike Abdo

Mike Abdo has over 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mike currently holds the position of Director of Pharmacy at CommunityCare, a role they have held since September 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Post Acute Medical, LLC as the Director of Pharmacy from September 2010 to September 2018. From January 2001 to October 2010, they worked at Saint Francis Health System as a Medication Safety and Drug Utilization Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for negotiating pharmaceutical contracts, evaluating market share opportunities, chairing the MedWatch Safety Committee, managing the adverse drug event database, and ensuring the medication process was as safe as possible.

Mike Abdo, DPH, MBA, received their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mike then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Arkansas Grantham. Mike also holds a certification in the Fundamentals of Managed Care Pharmacy from AMCP, obtained in 2019. Prior to their higher education, Abdo attended Union High School.
