Steven Schiher, CISSP, CEH has a significant amount of work experience in the field of information security. Steven currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Community Care Physicians, where they are responsible for managing enterprise security, IT operations, data center systems, infrastructure, telecom, and help desk. Additionally, they lead the development and implementation of the Enterprise Security Program, including DR & BCP, policies & procedures, risk management, security awareness, security operations, vendor risk assessments, vulnerability assessment & patching, data classification, incident response, penetration testing, physical & endpoint security, and enforcement of the sanction policy. Prior to their current role, they served as the Chief Security Officer and Director of Information Systems at the same company, where they oversaw a wide range of responsibilities, including support and security for a large user base, data centers, sites/practices, servers, network devices, and endpoints.
Before joining Community Care Physicians, Steven worked at MVP Health Care as the Help Desk and Networking Manager, where they successfully revamped the help desk and improved the quality of service for customers across multiple states. Steven also developed standardization for desktop and printing environments.
Earlier in their career, Steven served as the Service Manager at Quest Business Systems/Quest Computers, where they were responsible for creating, staffing, and managing the service department for a start-up company. Steven optimized various aspects of customer service, including parts inventory and procurement, on-site and in-house service, staff training, and profit and loss.
Their work experience also includes a role as a Computer Technician at Computer Technologies Inc., where they single-handedly provided technical support and significantly increased service sales through effective organization and time management.
Steven began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Engineering Specialist and Sergeant, leading and training a team.

Steven Schiher, CISSP, CEH has a diverse education history. Steven first attended SUNY Empire State College from 2003 to 2006, where they began working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Fast forward to 2021, Steven then pursued their education further at Purdue University, where they studied Cybersecurity with a Concentration in Cloud Computing. Steven completed their Bachelor of Science degree in this field in 2023.
In addition to their education, Steven Schiher has obtained multiple certifications. In June 2021, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In June 2022, they also obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council.
