Tara Barauskas

Tara Barauskas has a diverse work experience in the housing and community development sector. Tara served as the Executive Director at the Community Corporation of Santa Monica starting in August 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Housing at A Community of Friends between May 2011 and August 2016. Tara also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Highridge Costa Housing Partners from October 1999 to May 2011.

Tara Barauskas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Long Beach. Tara also attended UCLA from 2002 to 2003, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in LEED AP from USGBC-Los Angeles and Living Future Accreditation from the International Living Future Institute.
