Paola Seguil, MS, RD, LDN has a diverse work experience in the health and wellness industry. Paola is currently serving as the Director of Operations at CommunityHealth. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Quality & Practice Transformation at Esperanza Health Centers. Paola's previous roles include Health Educator at Northwestern University and Community Nutrition Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Paola has also worked as a Resident Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In one of their notable roles, Paola collaborated with various organizations in developing healthier food options in and around Humboldt Park as a Dietitian Consultant for the Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Initiative Project sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Paola Seguil, MS, RD, LDN, has a strong educational background in the field of nutrition. Paola began their academic journey in 2005 at The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Nutrition. Paola successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2009.
Motivated to further their understanding and expertise in nutrition, Paola then attended the University of Illinois Chicago. From 2009 to 2011, they focused their studies on Nutrition, ultimately earning a Master of Science (MS) degree.
In addition to their academic achievements, Paola Seguil holds the title of Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Paola obtained this esteemed certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in April 2012.

Founded in 1993, CommunityHealth is dedicated to serving the uninsured and underserved in Chicago and surrounding communities. We provide over 17,000 medical and dental visits for more than 10,000 patients every year. This level of care is made possible thanks to the time and talent of more than 1,000 volunteers, including 350+ providers (physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, counselors, etc.). CommunityHealth’s main facility, the Lederman Family Health Center, is located in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. In 2010, we opened a satellite in Chicago’s south side Englewood neighborhood — a community with great need and limited resources. As the largest volunteer-based free medical facility in the United States, we offer demonstrated success and an innovative model for providing compassionate and comprehensive medical and dental care to the uninsured.
