Tony Tench is a seasoned executive in the housing and care sector with extensive experience in transformational change and business growth. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive at Housing 21 since March 2014, Tony leads the development of up to 400 new homes annually for older individuals and oversees the maintenance of 24,000 properties with an investment of approximately £40 million per year. Previously, as Chief Operations Officer, responsibilities included restructuring retirement housing and managing over 20,000 properties while delivering significant social care services. Tony has also held key positions such as Group Board Member and Chair of Operations Committee at Community Housing, and various directorial roles at Hanover Housing Association, where achievements included significant investment programs and high resident satisfaction rates. Earlier experience at Anchor Trust involved leading the development of innovative housing and care services. Tony holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University.
