Birken Olson

Birken Olson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Birken started their career at General Electric as a Sales Engineer in 1990. From there, they moved on to Current Technology, where they held multiple roles including Product Manager, Marketing Manager, and Sales Manager. In 1998, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and worked there until 2001. Following that, they worked at Contrado as the Director of Business Development. In 2003, they co-founded Sequoia Unlimited and NEOS GeoSolutions, where they held various leadership positions. From 2010 to 2013, Birken served as CFO at First Choice Emergency Room. Since 2014, they have been the CEO and co-founder of CommunityMed Urgent Care & Family Care.

Birken Olson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New Mexico State University. Birken pursued this degree from 1984 to 1990. Later, they enrolled in The Wharton School, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. Birken attended The Wharton School from 1996 to 1998.
