Hemant Taneja is an Executive Chair and Co-founder at Commure. Hemant has also been a Managing Director at General Catalyst, a Board Member at various companies including Nova Credit, Grammarly, and Livongo, and they have also authored a manifesto for health assurance called UnHealthcare.

Hemant Taneja attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Hemant also completed a minor in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
