Marco Silva

Marco Silva's work experience begins in 2008 with a brief internship at Boca Comm - Global Business Services, where they served as an Analyst Intern and was responsible for managing the office and handling client acquisition. In 2009, they worked as an Intern - Supply Chain at American Greetings, where they identified changes within the company's UPC catalog and provided customer service to retail partners. Later that year, they interned as an Analyst Intern at AeroControlex, where they consolidated financial data from multiple product lines and created templates for financial presentations.

In 2010, Silva joined Cliffs Natural Resources' Financial Development Program, where they conducted internal audits, executed SOX reviews, and documented work as per established practices and SOX standards. In 2014, they worked as a Research Associate at Northcoast Research, where they designed financial models, managed industry surveys, and analyzed financial statements.

Since 2016, Silva has been with CommuteAir, starting as an FP&A Analyst and progressing to roles such as Senior FP&A Analyst, Manager FP&A Flight Operations, and Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Marco Silva's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management at Case Western Reserve University from 2005 to 2008, with a focus on Banking and Finance. Additionally, in 2007, they participated in a semester abroad program at SDA Bocconi, where they studied Accounting and Finance. Alongside their formal education, Marco Silva has also obtained several certifications, including the Series 87 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in May 2015, the Serie 63 certification from NASAA in January 2015, and the Series 7 certification from FINRA in December 2014.
