Valerie D.

Valerie D. serves as the Senior Manager of Corporate Security at CommuteAir since June 2021. Previously, Valerie worked at United Airlines from September 1992 to October 2019, holding various management roles including Manager of Safety & Compliance, where responsibilities involved overseeing safety, regulatory compliance, and quality programs. Valerie also acted as Senior Analyst for United Express Contract Administration and held the position of General Manager for Customer Service in Wichita, KS, managing a significant operating budget and a team of 38 employees. Earlier experience includes roles at City of Elgin, IL as Interim Manager and as Manager of the Internal Evaluation Program. Valerie holds a BA in Romance Languages from the University of Oregon and a degree in Aviation Industries from International Air Academy in Vancouver, WA.
