Poojan Kumar

Poojan Kumar currently serves as Chief Product Innovation Officer at Commvault, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Poojan Kumar was Chairman of the Board and Co-founder & CEO of Clumio from October 2017 to September 2024. Poojan Kumar also held the position of VP, Engineering & Products at Nutanix from September 2016 to October 2017 and was the CEO and Co-founder of PernixData from February 2012 to September 2016, leading efforts in server-side storage and analytics, successfully raising $62 million from prominent investors including Lightspeed, KPCB, and Menlo Ventures. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Data Products at VMware from May 2010 to February 2012. Poojan Kumar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
