Poojan Kumar

Poojan Kumar currently serves as Chief Product Innovation Officer at Commvault, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Poojan Kumar was the Chairman of the Board and Co-founder & CEO of Clumio, a company acquired by Commvault, from October 2017 to September 2024. Previous experience includes serving as VP of Engineering & Products at Nutanix from September 2016 to October 2017 and as CEO and Co-founder of PernixData from February 2012 to September 2016, where Poojan Kumar led the company in securing $62M in funding from prominent investors. Poojan Kumar's earlier career includes roles such as Head of Data Products at VMware from May 2010 to February 2012 and Co-founder of Oracle Exadata during a tenure at Oracle from May 2001 to April 2010. Poojan Kumar holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
