William Bielmyer started full-time with ComNet (formerly Comstock Communications) in 1991 as a Project Manager. In 1993 he was promoted to Sales Manager and in 1995 promoted to Vice President of Business Development. William has worked in Jacksonville, FL, and Danbury, CT during his tenure at ComNet. In 2012 William accepted his most recent promotion to Vice President of the Southeast Division where he oversees all operations and sales for the Southeast division. His industry knowledge and overall dedication make him an integral piece to ComNet’s management team.
William has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry starting in the field as a cable installer. From there he was promoted to Project Manager and managed several large national account customers where he supported estimating, purchasing, implementation, and management. Customers such as Northern Telecom and GTEL of California gave William his first experience in the National Account arena. After several years as a Project Manager, William then used his skills to start the sales division at ComNet. Today, ComNet’s sales force is 16 strong. Currently, as Vice President of the Southeast Division, his talents are used not only to help further sales growth but to also manage the operational delivery of each project. His process-oriented approach has helped ComNet maximize productivity while growing customer service.
Having worked in so many capacities at ComNet including field technician, project manager, estimator, purchaser, sales manager, and executive, William has gained tremendous experience in the telecom industry. He now uses his experience to not only manage the efforts of ComNet’s personnel in the Southeast but to also help forge ComNet’s ongoing strategic direction. William’s expertise has contributed to the addition of many of ComNet’s new service offerings including DAS, WLAN, GPON, Security, and Digital Signage.
