Artem Rapoport has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Artem started their career as a Software Developer at Ural Federal University in 2014 before moving on to become a Frontend Developer at InfiNet Wireless in 2015. In 2017, they joined uberall.com as a Frontend Engineer, where they worked with technologies like ReactJS and Redux.
Artem then joined Klarna in 2018 and held multiple positions within the company. Artem started as a Software Engineer in the Merchant Branding Services team and later became an Acting Competence Lead (Engineering Manager) in early 2020. Artem played a key role in mentoring engineers and contributing to the Klarna-wide JavaScript testing working group. Artem continued to excel in their role, eventually becoming a Senior Software Engineer in the same company.
In 2022, Artem joined Compa as the Head of Engineering. Artem provided leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, collaborating directly with the founders. Artem focused on removing critical issues for users, balance between code quality, team happiness, and user impact. Additionally, Artem served as an engineering mentor and lead, solving complex challenges and sharing their knowledge with the team.
Artem Rapoport completed their education at the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N.Yeltsin. Artem obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Computer Science with a specialization in Automated Control Systems in the years 2011-2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field, specifically focusing on Information and Control Systems, from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Artem obtained two certifications related to their English language skills, namely "Duolingo English Fluency: Advanced (Estimated)" from Duolingo in November 2016, and "EFSET Quick English Check - Score: Advanced / Proficient (CEFR C1/C2)" from EF Education First.
