James Ient

Chief Financial Officer (apac) at Compagnie Financiere Tradition

James Ient has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2001, they began their career as an Audit Executive at Deloitte before moving to PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Executive in audit. In 2003, they joined Vodafone as a Group Financial Accountant. From 2004 to 2007, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Orient Global, where they oversaw various functions and led asset management holding restructure. In 2007, they joined Compagnie Financiere Tradition as the Chief Financial Officer for APAC, where they held multiple responsibilities and managed operations across several countries. James became the Global Credit Control and Market Data Sales head in 2020. Additionally, they have held investor roles in Superminted, Click2View, and currently in TraditionDATA. James also served as the Founder Investor of Jai Financial Pte Ltd, which was later acquired by Acclime, where they served as the Non-Executive Chairman of their Singapore portfolio.

James Ient completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their studies at the University of Exeter from 1995 to 1999. During this time, they earned a Masters degree in Civil Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at ICAEW from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained the degree of Chartered Member in the field of Accountancy.
