Silvano Andrade

Silvano Andrade is an accomplished executive in the mining and metallurgy sectors, currently serving as CEO of Companhia de Ferro Ligas da Bahia - FERBASA since September 2022, overseeing a team of ten directors and managing operations across various domains such as metallurgy, mining, forestry, and energy generation. Previously, Andrade held significant positions at Mineração Caraíba S/A from January 2018 to July 2021, focusing on the Boa Esperança project and ensuring efficient operation of copper production facilities. As CEO of Mineração Rio do Norte from December 2013 to August 2017, Andrade directed a team in managing substantial mineral operations, with a focus on both domestic and international markets.
