Compania Agropecuaria Copeval SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the agriculture sector. It is involved in the acquisition, production, purchase and distribution of agricultural products and machinery domestically and worldwide. The Company's main activities include the distribution of agrochemicals, fertilizers and seeds, veterinarian products, animal food; the production of animal feeding; services related to the treatment, storage and commercialization of grain; the design and installation of irrigation systems; import and distribution of agricultural machinery, as well as the provision of intermediation and technical support services and the distribution of combustibles and lubricants, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Copeval Agroindustrias SA, Copeval Servicios SA and Copeval Capacitacion SA, as well as it held a 40.38% stake in FIP Proveedores COPEVAL, and it was 22.6%-owned by Comercial Huechuraba Ltda.
