Yezid Garzon

Yezid Armando Silva Garzon is a seasoned professional in logistics and supply chain management with extensive experience across various leadership roles in prominent companies. Currently serving as Gerente General at COMPAÑÍA INTERNACIONAL DE ALIMENTOS AGROPECUARIOS CIALTA SAS since March 2020, Yezid leads the vertical integration strategies from livestock management to manufacturing and commercial development. Previous positions include Gerente de operaciones at Ransa, where Yezid oversaw cold and dry logistics nationwide, and Gerente Nacional de Cadena de Abastecimiento at Grupo Éxito, responsible for the supply chain across all retail categories in Colombia. Yezid's educational background includes an Alta Dirección en Logística from Universidad de Los Andes and an Ingenieria de Alimentos from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. With a proven track record in operational excellence and strategic implementation, Yezid has also achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of modern cold storage platforms and state-of-the-art distribution models in the country.
