Wouter Van Grootheest

Wouter Van Grootheest has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Wouter is currently serving as the CFO of Novature since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of CFO at The IT Channel Company, a group of companies involved in channel enablement, value-added distribution, and cloud solutions. At The IT Channel Company, Wouter was responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the organization's operations in Europe and the MEA region. Before joining The IT Channel Company, Wouter worked as the CFO of Companial, starting in February 2017.

Prior to their role at Companial, Wouter worked as an interim CFO for two years as a self-employed professional, providing their services on a temporary basis. Wouter also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Noordhoff Uitgevers from September 2014 to September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for finance, IT, and legal matters, leading strategic planning and M&A activities, and driving the transition from a folio-based revenue model to a digital one.

Wouter Van Grootheest's career started at Baan, where they held multiple roles including Finance Director for the Northern Europe region, managing teams in the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden. Wouter also worked as a senior consultant, providing implementation consulting and pre-sales support for ERP projects in the international market. Later, Baan was acquired by SSA Global, which was subsequently acquired by Infor Global Solutions. Wouter held various finance director roles at Infor, including Finance Director for Northern Europe and Finance Director for Western Europe. In these positions, they implemented financial policies, integrated acquisitions, and managed finance functions for the Benelux, France, and other Western European countries.

Before joining Baan, Wouter worked at Exact Holding N.V. as a Corporate Concern Controller. In this role, they were responsible for financial reporting and budgeting for the group, which was a listed software company with a global presence.

Lastly, Wouter worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Cordys, a software vendor in the BPM space, from September 2008 to May 2014. Cordys was acquired by Open Text during their tenure.
