Kathleen Cooney

Kathleen Cooney, DVM, CHPV, DACAW resident, has extensive experience in companion animal euthanasia and animal welfare. Kathleen founded the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (CAETA) and has been teaching at Colorado State University. Kathleen also served as the Former Chief Medical Officer at Caring Pathways, where Kathleen contributed to national expansion, research, training, and team well-being. With a background in veterinary medicine and anatomy, Kathleen continues to make significant contributions to the field through their consulting and ownership roles in various organizations.
