Andy Folsom

Andy Folsom has a diverse work experience history. Andy started their career as an Attorney at Alston & Bird LLP from September 2006 to April 2009. Later, they joined BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina in May 2009, where they held the position of VP, M&A and Strategic Investments. In July 2016, they became the President of Companion Capital Management, Inc., a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, until August 2020. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Sales and Strategic Initiatives at Companion Life Insurance Company, starting from October 2020.

Andy Folsom obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Washington and Lee University between 1999 and 2003. Andy then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law from 2003 to 2006.
