Kellie Austin

Kellie Austin has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Kellie began their career at Colonial Life in 2003, where they held various roles over a span of 15 years. As an IT Director, they managed teams of technical professionals across multiple locations and oversaw technology and application upgrades. Kellie also led the coordination of team deliveries for new products and implemented enhancements resulting in cost savings. Prior to their role as IT Director, they served as an IT Project Manager, where they led application development teams and coordinated upgrade projects. In their earlier years at Colonial Life, Kellie worked as a Senior Software Developer/Systems Analyst, coding and testing programs to support Sales Compensation Programs. Kellie also gained expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 without formal training and created screens in PowerBuilder for a custom-built sales compensation application. In 2019, Kellie joined TM Floyd & Company as a Project Coordinator.

Kellie Austin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina, where they graduated Cum Laude. Kellie also has additional certifications, including an Associate in Customer Service (ACS) from LOMA and a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from LOMA.
