Gian-Reto Schulthess serves as the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Companjon, a pioneering tech venture in Europe specializing in fully digital embedded insurance since May 2020. Previously, Gian-Reto held significant roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from April 2013 to May 2020, where responsibilities included Head of Legal Technology and Innovation and Senior Legal Counsel, focusing on governance initiatives and policy framework. Gian-Reto also founded RebaZ GmbH, the first walk-in and video legal advice provider in Switzerland, and led the Corporate Law Department at Adecco Group. Early career included roles at Forbo Group and CMS von Erlach Partners AG, with comprehensive legal training at prestigious firms like Baker & McKenzie.
