Steve Cagnetta

Steve Cagnetta is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and advocacy. As the founder and principal of Company Counsel, LLC since December 2002, Cagnetta has provided affordable part-time general counsel services to emerging companies and entrepreneurs. In March 2010, Cagnetta co-founded Primacea, Inc., where the role as Chief Physician Advocate focuses on advising physicians on legal and compliance matters. Prior experience includes serving as a corporate attorney at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar and O'Connor, Broude & Aronson, where Cagnetta specialized in start-up issues, licensing, and financing for emerging companies. Cagnetta's early career includes service as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy. Cagnetta holds a JD from Boston University and a BA in Accounting and Russian Studies from Muhlenberg College.
