Joyce Almeida

Joyce Almeida is an experienced professional in the publishing and education sectors, currently serving as a Foreign Rights Assistant at Companhia das Letras since September 2021. Prior to this role, Joyce worked as an editorial assistant at Editora Nós, where responsibilities included building partnerships and managing author contracts, alongside administrative duties. Joyce also gained experience at Campus France as an intern, assisting with student visa applications and event organization. In the education field, Joyce taught Portuguese at both Curso Anglo Vestibulares and Colégio Guilherme de Almeida, focusing on grammar, literature, and text evaluation. Joyce holds a Licenciatura and Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese / French from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and studied literature at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
