Aly Barakat

Aly Barakat, CPA, CGMA, currently serves as the Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management at Savola Group since May 2012. Previously, Aly held the position of Senior Manager at the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority from March 2003 to April 2012, and served as a Manager at KPMG Dubai Office and Ernst & Young in both the Cairo and Sultanate of Oman offices. Educational qualifications include a CGMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a CPA in Accounting & Auditing from the New Mexico State Board of Accountancy, and a BA in Commerce with a major in Accounting from Foreign Trade & Commerce University. Early education was completed at Port Said English Language School.
