Dr. Motaz Alsolaim currently serves as the General Manager of Innovation and Modern Technology at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture since March 2022, focusing on sustainable practices in food, water, and air. Simultaneously, Dr. Alsolaim is an Assistant Professor at Majmaah University and heads the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, where initiatives to establish an Entrepreneurship Club have been implemented. Previous roles include General Manager of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Education, Project Lead Advisor at Palladium, and various positions within the Global Entrepreneurship Network and Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Dr. Alsolaim holds a PhD in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the University of Brighton, an MBA from Swansea University, and has completed the Executive Education Programme in FinTech at Imperial College Business School. Academic experience includes lecturing in finance and enhancing student performance through innovative teaching methods.
