Shaurya Kabra has a diverse work experience in the fields of analytics, consulting, and risk strategy. Currently, they are working as a Credit Risk Strategy professional, where they are responsible for setting up a new credit program from scratch, developing policies and processes, and implementing analytics and reporting across various functions. Prior to this, Shaurya worked at EXL as a Senior Assistant Vice President, where they managed multiple engagements for different lending portfolios and mentored teams. Shaurya also served as an Assistant Vice President, leading client relationships and delivering engagements in the consumer and commercial lending space. Before that, they worked as a Senior Manager and Manager, leading projects related to portfolio expansion and risk mitigation for a banking and financial services client. Shaurya began their career at PwC, working as an Experienced Associate and Associate, where they led small teams and collaborated on various analytical projects across industries. Shaurya contributed to the firm's intellectual capabilities by publishing studies on customer acquisition, pricing and profitability, and intellectual products. Prior to PwC, they interned at DuPont.
Shaurya Kabra has a diverse education history. Shaurya completed their B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Process Design, and Business Management at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2006 to 2011. In 2008, they participated in a Student Exchange Program at Ecole des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux, where they focused on Chemical Engineering and Process Simulation. Also in 2008, they attended the Ecole des Mines de Nantes for a French Summer School, specializing in French Studies.
Before pursuing higher education, Shaurya studied at Delhi Public School - Vasant Kunj from 2003 to 2005 and received their AISSCE. Prior to that, they completed their AISSE from Blue Bells Model Sr. Sec School, Gurgaon, between 1993 and 2003.
Shaurya also obtained additional certifications. In January 2020, they completed the "Applied Machine Learning: Foundations" certification from LinkedIn. In November 2019, they acquired the "Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics" certification, also from LinkedIn.
