Toby Petty

Toby Petty is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Current since April 2025, Toby previously held similar roles at 2U and Auriemma Roundtables. With a background in machine learning education as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, Toby's early career included positions as a Data Analyst at Battersea Power Station and a Software/Database Manager at the University of Brighton. Toby holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed a data science course at General Assembly, complemented by bachelor's degrees in History and Literature from the University of Sheffield and UC San Diego.
