Lusi Esquivel

Lusi is a graduate from The University of Kansas, with a Master’s degree in Social Work, May 2018. She also attended Fort Hays State University, May 2012, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She is a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker in the state of Kansas. Lusi joined Compass in 2006 working out of the Community Support Service in Garden City, where she gained experience as a Vocational Case Manager, Adult Bilingual Case Manager, Targeted Case Manager, Strength Based Team Lead, Dialectical Behavior Therapy provider, Psychoeducation Group Coordinator, and group leader. Some of her strengths is serving the Spanish-speaking population in the community, working with adults who experience a co-occurring disorder, and integrating art into treatment. Lusi grew up in Western Kansas, and has four daughters, two energetic grandsons, and three sassy granddaughters. When not working, Lusi enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, baking, sewing, and painting.
